The second annual Denver Comic Con was a HUGE success with over 60,000 attendees over the weekend, up from 27,000 last year!
A big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by my table, particularly those of you who sought me out and those who attended the Unsung Heroes of Comics (Colorists, Letterers) panel discussion.
I was able to meet lots of cool, fellow comicbook readers, sci-fi and horror fans, Star Trek nerds, and everyone in between. I saw some familiar faces and met some other pros and collaborators in person. Since I was in Artists Alley I didn’t get to see much of the rest of the con or meet guests like William Shatner, George Takei, or Wil Wheaton, but it was a treat for those who did, I’m sure.
Comic pros, take notice: this is a big con that you need to think about attending next year, with a big bonus of all that Denver, the Front Range and Rockies have to offer!
I’ve got some posters left from this year but no more 2012s (unless you already requested one), and I’ll update soon with how to get a 2013 poster if you’re interested. I may reprint, but the new prints with be clearly marked to differentiate from the limited edition first runs (only 100 of each poster).
