As part of Image Comics’ 20th anniversary, they are running ads each week in their comics featuring different comic creators. The “Experience Creativity” ads each feature a quote from the creator in the ad as well, generally about comics or their work. Image Comics publisher Eric Stephenson asked me to participate, and I gratefully and humbly obliged. My ad was printed in books on sale the week of May 9th (comics go on sale on Wednesdays), including Invincible #91, a book I’ve been lettering since issue #14 almost a decade go.
